AmeriPlan® and Insurance Agents

As an Insurance Agent looking to maket the AmeriPlan® Discount Programs, there are three option as far as getting started.

1: As an IBO you can market the dental and health programs, plus build a sales team ann receive lucrative overrides on your  team’ s production. A 30% commission is paid on all Programs and IBOs on your team. All IBOs pay a $50 monthly IBO fee which includes Dental Vision, Ecommerce Sites and Corporate Support. For Details see: www.APWebinar.net

2: As an Sponsoring Representative you will be able to offer the AmeriPlan® Programs to your clients and earn a 20% lifetime monthly residual income. There is a one time $20 registration, but no recurring monthly fees. You will not be able to sponsor other agents under this program. If you desire the ecommerce website there is a  $180 annual charge.  To participate as a Sponsoring Representative download, complete and FAX in this application to (469) 229-4589. Be sure to add M11061470 as the Sponsoring IBO and I will mail out a 100 Brochures and a Programs DVD to help you get started.

3: The third option is the MGR Agreement. If you qualify with the criteria below, you can participate in the MGR Program and earn a 30% Commission and you would be able to add your Agents to the program as well. At this time all MGRs get the brochures and needed supplies complimentary from corporate. 

  • Any licensed insurance agent who has one or more “General Agent” or “Managing General Agent” contracts with recognized insurance companies, and
  • Has management responsibility over five (5) or more licensed agents.

AmeriPlan® Managing General Representatives (MGR) Program

AmeriPlan® is proud to announce the introduction of one more way for our IBO business partners to grow their businesses and their incomes with this great business opportunity.

Over the years there has been a distinction in the health benefits marketplace between the role of the insurance agent and that of everyone else. Times have changed with the out of control increases in health insurance pricing and the fact that more and more employers are opting out of traditional health insurance coverage for their employees. As a result, there are a growing number of people who have dropped their health insurance coverage because it is just too expensive.

On its own, this is indicative of a major crises in health care, but it is not only impacting the employer and the employee…it is now impacting the pocket of the health insurance agent. As more and more people drop out, less and less commissions are being paid. Herein lies our opportunity. The traditional insurance agent is now open to alternatives, and AmeriPlan® is the most viable alternative in the marketplace.

Remember, the AmeriPlan® discount program is not insurance and not a substitute or replacement for insurance, but is an incredible alternative when insurance is not available or is too expensive.

With this in mind, AmeriPlan® has created a program to fill this market need. We are now offering our “Managing General Representative” agreement to the insurance community. This will allow the insurance agent to have a back up, another arrow in his quiver, when it comes to taking care of the needs of his clients. AmeriPlan Dental Plus™ and AmeriPlan Health® are both available depending upon client needs.

The MGR program is pretty simple and the target market is well defined. Here are the rules and the details:

  • Who is eligible for an MGR agreement?
    • Any licensed insurance agent who has one or more “General Agent” or “Managing General Agent” contracts with recognized insurance companies, and
    • Has management responsibility over five (5) or more licensed agents.
  • Commission will be paid at the normal rate of 30% level for Dental Plus™, and AmeriPlan Health®.
    • The MGR can designate at the time of contracting whether they want to receive the entire commission and in turn they will pay their agents, or
    • They can designate how they want the commissions split and we will do the splitting and send the checks in accordance with their specified split arrangement.
  • The MGR and their agents can only enroll members into the AmeriPlan® Discount programs
  • The MGR does not pay a monthly fee.
  • They do not have to pay for their brochures and work site marketing tools.
  • They will receive e-commerce websites for themselves and each of their agents at no charge.

The compensation arrangement for an AmeriPlan® IBO that signs up an MGR is as follows:

  • The MGR and the agents assigned to that MGR will not count as members or IBOs in the IBOs organization and structure.
  • MGRs will not count toward pin level promotions or contests.
  • The volume produced by the MGR and agents will not count as Personal Monthly Revenue (MR).
  • An MGR will be treated for compensation purposes as if they were an RSD in your downline. Based on this consideration, only SRSDs and above earn overrides on this business.
  • Upline overrides will apply as per normal business.

Example: An SRSD signs up an MGR. MGR receives 30% on the MGR production, the SRSD receives normal 15% override, and the upline Sales Directors get the normal 10%, 5%, 3% and 1%.
