Health Care Agents selling Discount Health and Dental Plans in Connecticut may not be required to be licensed as Insurance Agents, but they must comply with Connecticut State requirements.  Beginning Jan 1, 2008 agents of discount dental plans and discount health plans that market these plans on the internet, must be associated with an authorized provider and provide a link to a company provided website.
