Times have changed with the out of control increases in health insurance pricing and the fact that more and more employers are opting out of traditional health insurance coverage for their employees. As a result, there are a growing number of people who have dropped their health insurance coverage because it is just too expensive.
On its own, this is indicative of a major crises in health care, but it is not only impacting the employer and the employee…it is now impacting the pocket of the health insurance agent. As more and more people drop out, less and less commissions are being paid. Herein lies our opportunity. The traditional insurance agent is now open to alternatives, and AmeriPlan® is the most viable alternative in the marketplace.

With this in mind, AmeriPlan® has created a program to fill this market need. We are now offering our “Managing General Representative” agreement to the insurance community. This will allow the insurance agent to have a back up, another arrow in his quiver, when it comes to taking care of the needs of his clients. AmeriPlan Dental Plus™ and AmeriPlan Health® are both available depending upon client needs.
The MGR program is pretty simple and the target market is well defined. Here are the rules and the details:
The compensation arrangement for an AmeriPlan® IBO that signs up an MGR is as follows:
Example: An SRSD signs up an MGR. MGR receives 30% on the MGR production, the SRSD receives normal 15% override, and the upline Sales Directors get the normal 10%, 5%, 3% and 1%.
