I wanted to let you know that I used my Prescription Discount Card for the first time yesterday, June 19th, 2008, and received a wonderful surprise when I purchased 5 prescriptions from Walgreens. I do not have a major medical plan and was stressing out so much that my prescriptions were going to cost me an arm and a leg.
However, when I went to pick them up I found that my average savings was an overall 49% off of retail prices. My highest discount was 58% and my lowest was 33%. I can’t say enough now about how great the plan is. Keep up the good work and spread the news to those of us that are uninsured or under-insured.
